The Unnamed--Divinely Inspired?

Thank you again for another great session and lecture on Book 4. Perhaps Augustine's intentional "unnaming" of so many people was divinely inspired since we may be able to see ourselves in Augustine's life more fully if we can assign our own names to friends, loved ones, strangers, whom we may have hurt or for whom we grieve. Kevin mentioned in another session how Confessions appeals to modern-day readers, and perhaps the unnamed contribute to this appeal.
